I stayed here with a friend in October 2023 and loved it! The staff was friendly and helpful, the location right on the river and close to shops on Main St was amazing, the rooms were comfortable (I had one with a balcony - having a screen door was unique and cool). The food was amazing and the drinks, oh the drinks. Debra is the most amazing bartender who makes signature cocktails that are to die for.

This hotel is very old, but that is no reason for it to be a dump. The restaurant gets great reviews and the location is great but if you're looking for a nice room, go elsewhere. The room was in absolute disrepair. It needed to be painted, badly. The TV did not work. One light didn't work. One side of the bed didn't have a nightstand. The bed creaked and was very old, too soft. The furnishing were very dated, and not in a good way. This hotel could be great, but it isn't.

I've come here a few times, always with friends and usually for brunch. The food is delicious. We always opt for bottomless Bellinis which are just as delicious as they are refreshing. Everyone here is so nice, the service is on point and the atmosphere is perfect. I recommend this place for a nice relaxing brunch where you can indulge in good food and good moments.

I’ve come to cold spring my whole life, this restaurant just caters to every traveling person coming from New York City on an idiotic boat from midtown Manhattan. They couldn’t care less about residents and long term lovers of Cold Spring. We waited for a table for an hour and a half and they still refused to politely ask patrons who were just waiting for their train to arrive to get their paycheck and leave. I’m sick and tired of Cold Spring catering to these people who treat the town like a Disneyland. Have some dignity and stand up for yourself, for the love of god.

The Hudson House was everything I wanted for my special event, and more. The service was impeccable, along with the management staff. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. I recommend this establishment for any event you are thinking of having.

The rooms are no frills. I liked how they felt old though. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The view of the river is amazing.

Came here looking to eat some food and was very rudely greeted and dismissed. The host wouldn’t answer any of our questions and was extremely obnoxious sizing us up and said “well the question is, do I have a table for 5 people” when the restaurant was pretty empty. Do not go here if you want to be treated with at least a little bit of respect and decency.

We had an incredible experience at this establishment Mike and Judy are just two of the exceptional staff that they have. Everyone was beyond accommodating and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend The Hudson House !!!
